The Fast Break Pool Club is an Eight Ball (Pool) team competing in Eastern Districts Pool League (EDPL) playing under the current World Eight Ball Rules format. The team is based and plays out of the Rack'em Up Pool Hall on John St, Lilydale Victoria. All registered members of Fast Break are also registered under Pool Victoria and the Australian Eightball Federation. The club currently supports a 3rd and 4th division side, which is currently holding a competitive place within the EDPL. The club was started in 1995 by Matt Vaughan, the then owner of the Fast Break Pool Hall, and excluding 1 year during change of ownership the team has always been comfortable with Fast Break as its home ground. In 2004 The Fastbreak Pool Hall moved 6 places down the road, giving the venue and the team brand new and considerably updated surroundings. 2008 brings a new location for the Fastbreak Pool Club, the Rack'em Up Pool Hall in John St. In it’s short time in the competition Fast Break has chalked up an impressive history having achieved 4 Premierships, 1 Runner-up, and 2 Third place results with 8 best player divisional and league awards. With the constant work going into the team with regard to player training, outfitting and sponsorship we are looking at once again having a very successful year. The last Premiership happening in the 2007 4th Division Winter Season. |
